Description	:	Obituary Mrs. M. Louise Hipkins, 86, of Frederick, died on Friday, February 17, 2006 at her home. Twice married, she was the wife of John W. Hipkins and the late Narvil F. Mullinix. Louise Hipkins, 86, of Frederick, died on Friday, February 17, 2006 at her home. Twice married, she was the wife of John W. Hipkins and the late Narvil F. Mullinix. Born in Mt. Airy, on January 14, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Mabel Desmond Roberts. Mrs. Hipkins had been employed as a seamstress with Sagner's in Frederick for several years. She was an active member of the Frederick Church of the Brethren and the Home Builders Sunday School Class. She loved life, her family and visiting with her many friends. She and her husband enjoyed traveling; she loved working in her garden and with her flowers. Surviving in addition to her husband is her son, Narvil F. Mullinix and wife Becky of Thurmont; her stepchildren Eleanor Free and husband Joe of Frederick, Elwood Hipkins and wife Jean and Ronald Hipkins and wife Nancy, all of Adamstown; three grandchildren, Karen Flohr and husband Ken, Dwayne Mills and wife Becky and Tom Mills; five step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Elmer H. Mullinix; a daughter, Patricia N. Garber; a twin brother, Harry S. Roberts; two sisters, Catherine Gastley and Dorothy Pearson; and a step-grandson, John Edward Hipkins. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 20, 2006 from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Frederick Church of the Brethren and on Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Pastors R. Thomas Fralin Jr. and Amy Messler, associate pastors of the church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Mills, Tom Mills, Jesse Mills, Ken Flohr, Josh McCloskey, Troy Eyler, Eric Hipkins and Scott Hipkins. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Frederick Church of the Brethren, 201 Fairview Ave., Frederick, Maryland 21701 or to Hospice of Frederick County, P.O. Box 1799, Frederick, Maryland, 21702. The Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, is handling the funeral arrangements.
