Description	:	Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Albion at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. O. E. Henman, who passed away last week at Twin Falls, Idaho. Rev. L. N. Blough, pastor, officiated at the services. Burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery. Mabel Allen was born April 27, 1884, at Albia, Iowa. Blough, pastor, officiated at the services. Burial was made in Rose Hill cemetery. Mabel Allen was born April 27, 1884, at Albia, Iowa. Shortly after, her parents moved to Boone county, Nebraska, and here she grew to womanhood. On October 20, 1904, she was married to Oliver Ellsworth Henman and to this union seven children were born, two of whom, Eva and Kermit, with her father and one brother, Lester, preceded her in death. Mr. and Mrs. Henman resided in Boone county until the 1st of March, 1938, when they moved to Twin Falls, Idaho. At six p.m., Wednesday, November 18, Mrs. Henman passed away at her home, at the age of 58 years, six months and 22 days. Death resulted from a heart ailment. Surviving are her husband; five children, Owen Henman, Nevada, Mo.; Dale and Preston Henman, Twin Falls, Ida.; Mrs. Lucille Sward, Albion, Nebr.; and Mrs. Gertrude Hinze, Twin Falls. Also surviving are her mother, Mrs. Rohanna Allen, Albion; and the following brothers and sisters, Edwin, Clarence, Oscar and Bertram Allen, Albion; Robert Allen, Dixon, Neb.; Mrs. Lulu Ellison, Oregon; Mrs. May Sjurson, Twin Falls, Ida.; Mrs. Bertha Freeman, Littleton, Colo., and Mrs. Maude Brittell, Bremerton, Wash. Mrs. Henman was a good wife and mother, and a generous friend and neighbor. At the time of her passing she was a member of the Lend-a-Hand club at her home community. Services were held Friday afternoon at the Reynolds Funeral home chapel in Twin Falls, conducted by Rev. Mark C. Cronenberger, pastor of the Christian church, after which the body was brought to Albion for final rites and burial. (Albion Weekly News – Albion, Nebraska – November 26, 1942)
