Description	:	Mrs. Mabel A. Ambrosius, 747 Dakota Ave. S., died Thursday afternoon at the Huron Nursing Home at the age of 85. The funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert P. Nielsen officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Mabel Anna Schroder was born Aug. 27, 1888, at Leavenworth, Kan., to Henry J. and Belle M. Schroder. As a child she moved to Rushville, Ill., and in 910 moved to Huron. She was married to George C. Ambrosius of Rushville, Dec. 28, 1910, and they lived in Rushville where there two sons were born. They returned to Huron in 1921 and farmed 8 ½ miles south of Huron. Following her husband’s death in 1928 she moved to Huron where she resided since. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Gail S. and G. Norman, both of Huron; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and one brother George Schroder.
