Mabel died at age 98 Courtesy of Vicki (47580791) Mabel McNeal Elder, 98, Natoma, died Monday, Feb. 15, at the Park View Manor Nursing Home, Osborne. Mrs. Elder was born Feb 8, 1890, in Victor Township. She had been a resident of Natoma since 1948, moving from Victor Township. She was a homemaker and a member of the Brethern Church, Victor Township. Her first husband, Albert McNeal, died in 1953, and her second husband, Howard Elder, died in 1971. Survivors include three daughters, Ethel Sandy of Osborne, Gwendolyn Wiesner of Colorado Springs, CO, and Carol Dixon of Manhattan, KS; a sister Aloa Cross of Naples, FL; 20 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Natoma, the Rev. Raymond Noah officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Bluff Cemetery, north of Natoma.
