Read More	From the Scott County Chronicle January 16, 1935 A Double Funeral For Two Sisters - Both Victims of Pneumonia Mrs. Gertrude Phillipy died Tuesday night of last week at the home of her sister, Mrs. Peter H. Ringold, of Vienna, aged 65 years. Mrs. Phillipy's home was at Hartsville, Indiana. She came here to nurse Mrs. Ringold, who had flu and later pneumonia, which Mrs. Phillipy contracted. Little hope was held for her recovery from the beginning, although a trained nurse was called to assist the physician in caring for her. Mrs. Phillipy was a native of Vienna, the daughter of the late Chistopher C. Cravens and wife, both deceased. She is survived by one daughter, and a brother, Fred Cravens, of the state of Washington. On Thursday afternoon, Mrs. Helen Ringold, wife of Peter H. Ringold, died of pneumonia after a two weeks' illness. Beside her husband, she is survived by one son, Morris Ringold, and a brother, Fred Cravens. She had resided all her life in Vienna township. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Vienna, and has many friends who will regret her death. She was the youngest of six children, 3 brothers, Adolph, Charles and Fred Cravens and 2 sisters, Miss Gertie Phillipy and Eva Cravens. A double funeral and burial took place Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Cravens Cemetery, near Vienna.
