Robar, at the age of 43 years, 11 months, after a long and painful illness. She was born at North River and was the daughter of the late Jonas and Elizabeth Robar. Robar, at the age of 43 years, 11 months, after a long and painful illness. She was born at North River and was the daughter of the late Jonas and Elizabeth Robar. Mrs. Robar, who spent most of her life at North River, enjoyed the friendship of a wide circle of friends. She was a kind and cheerful person and was liked by all who knew her. Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Lambert; and three daughters, (Marie), Mrs. Andrew Drummond; Kathleen and Muriel, all at home; one sister, (Elsie), Mrs. Clifford Daniels; three brothers, Harry, Ellis, and Edwin; one granddaughter; and one grandmother, all of North River. Two sisters predeceased her. The funeral service was held in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, of which the deceased was a member and regular attendant and a worker in the Ladies Aid as long as her health permitted. The service was conducted by her pastor, Rev. W.G. Minke who spoke comforting words from Rev. 21, verses 3 and 4. Hymns sung were "Rock of Ages," "A Few More Years Shall Roll," and "There is a Green Hill Far Away." Pall bearers were Howard Daniels, Roy Robar, Fred Daniels, and Alvin Robar. Rosemary Rafuse.
