Burial will be in the parish cemetery and pall bearers will be Clifford Cavanaugh of Carroll, Clarence Bruening, V.H. Davenport, W.O. Conner, Harley Sebern and Chris Jacobsen. The body will be returned at 10:30 Wednesday morning from the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll to the family residence here, where it will rest until the time of the rites. Mrs. Franzwa had lived in Glidden since she was three years old. She was born Mabel Irene Henderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Henderson, May 22, 1893, in the state of Idaho. Her father, who was a pioneer merchant there, preceded her in death. June 28, 1916, she was married at SS. Peter and Paul's Church in Carroll to Fred W. Franzwa. Surviving, with her husband are three sons and one daughter: Frederick, of Gary, Ind.; Gregory, Sterling and Suzanne, at home. She also leaves her mother; one sister, Mrs. C.L. Haskins (Hattie) of Spokane, Wash., and one brother, Richard Henderson, of Des Moines, Ia. A sister Maude, and a brother, Clarence, have passed away. Mrs. Franzwa was a member of SS. Peter and Paul's Church. Active in community affairs, she was president of the Glidden unit of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of the Music Mothers Club and also the Woman's Club.
