FRANK EITING Mrs. Frank Eiting passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 1928, at 1 o’clock, in Lincoln, Nebr., after a prolonged illness of about four years. Funeral services were held on Saturday morning at 9:30 o’clock from St. Mary’s church in this city and interment was made in St. Mary’s cemetery. Services were conducted by Rev. Father Ekeler, and St. Mary’s choir sang the Requiem Mass for the Dead. The pall-bearers were John Fox, Frank Keiley, Theo. Brochtrup, Raymond Litjen, George Chamberlain and Peter Vanderheiden. Mabel Leidy, daughter of John and Flora Leidy, was born in St. Joseph, on July 23, 1886, and was married to Frank Eiting on January 18, 1911, at St. Francis church in Center township where they lived prior to moving into David City. Mrs. Eiting leaves a husband and two children, Francis and Marcella, and a sister, Mrs. Wm. Haber, of Junction City, Kansas, to mourn her death. Mrs. Eiting was a devoted mother and wife, and was beloved in her large circle of friends. Those attending the funeral from elsewhere were Mrs. Wm. Haber, of Junction City, Kansas; Miss Hattie Eiting, Miss Jeromitta Kelly, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Griffin and John H. Neely, of Lincoln; Miss Josephine Brochtrup, Mary Alice Eiting, Gerald Eiting, Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Ankenser, Mrs. Cleo L. Watkins and son, of Omaha; Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Camp, of Elgin, and Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Chaplin, of Schuyler.
