She married Willard Cundiff on Aug. 1, 1942, in Lancaster, Mo. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2003. Mabel had worked for the Stardust Motel as a manager and also for Swift Meat Packing Co. She is survived by one son, Gary(Delores)of Kirkville, and one daughter, Linda(George)Cook of Agency; five grandchildren, Kevin Cook, Bryon Cundiff, Greg Cook, Lisa Veatch, Tammy Harlan; 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ira Stogdill... Nabel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be at 10 am on Monday at the Shrine of Memories Funeral Home with Rev. Mel Kendall of the Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Pallbearers will be George Cook, Kevin Cook, Gary Cundiff, Bryon Cundiff, Lisa Veatch and Tammy Harlan. Visitation will begin at 4 pm on Sunday at the Shrine of Memories Funeral Home with the family present from 7-8:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials may be made to Hospice House in Ottumwa. Shrine of Memories Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
