Mabel attended Rural School District 23 and 57. Mabel married Carl Bronzynski on September 6, 1939 at Wayne Methodist Church Parsonage. The farmed southwest of Winside until 1968 when they moved to Norfolk. Mabel taught Sunday school and was a 4-H leader for several years. She was a member of the Winside Methodist Church until transferring to First United Methodist Church. She worked at the Lutheran Community Hospital for over 15 years, retiring in March 1985. Mabel and Carl were avid square dancers and enjoyed it for many years and enjoyed taking bus tours all over the United States. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, canning and gardening raising African Violets. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were a great joy to her. Mabel is survived by her husband Carl of 72 years, son Donald and Evelyn Bronzynski of Norfolk, daughter Carol Heitman of Laurel, grandchildren, Todd and Sheila Heitman and their sons Tyler and Justin, Troy and Dena Heitman and their daughter Alexa, Lori Bronzynski, Greg and Jayne Bronzynski and their sons, Douglas and Samuel, and Lacey and Jesse Roberts and their sons, Tyson, Trey and Colton. Mabel was preceded in death by: parents, brothers Albert and Donald Gamble, and son in-law Roger Heitman. Burial was in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Norfolk, NE.
