Read More	Garden County News (Oshkosh, Nebraska), Dec. 16, 1943, Page 1 Mable Daniels, the eldest daughter of John and Isabel Daniels was born September 22, 1861, at Peotone, Ill., and departed this life December 6, 1943, at Lewellen, Nebraska, at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 15 days. She was married to George Frederick Clark at Sycamore, Ill., September 22, 1880, and to this union were born eight children, seven sons and one daughter, Delmar of Alliance; Wesley of Lewellen; Floyd, who passed away in Longview, Wash., in 1927; Jasper of Gillette, Wyo.; George, who died in infancy; Ray of Lewellen; Jay, who died in infancy; Mrs. Richard Dallam of Lewellen; and one adopted daughter, Mrs. Ray Crist, who passed away in North Platte in 1928. She also leaves 15 grand children, and four great grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Clark moved to Nebraska in 1888 and took homestead in what was then Cheyenne county. In 1908 they moved to Sabetha, Kansas, for Mrs. Clark's health, which having improved in 1919, they moved back and built up the place where they have lived until the time of her death. She leaves to mourn her loss besides her loving husband and children, two sisters, Mrs. Eta Clark and Mrs. Homer Spillman, and a number of nephews, nieces, and a host of friends. She was baptised in the Methodist church in 1889 and has lived true to the faith until her death. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Compton, Wednesday, December 8, at 2:00 P.m. in the presence of a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends, and interment was in Ash Hollow cemetery.
