Organist was Tom Kersten, and pallbearers were Dennis Hess, Mark Johnson, Randy Innis, Richard Innis, Rodney Innis and Robert Walker. The daughter of Melvin and Maggie Ann Kendell Parker, she was born Aug. 3, 1908, in Muncie, Ind. Following her mother's death in 1911, she moved to Brooklyn to live with the O'Harra family. She was a 1928 graduate of Brooklyn High School. Following her education, she taught school. She was married to Stover M. Sheets Dec. 9, 1933, in Des Moines. The couple farmed near Barnes City, Victor and Brooklyn. They moved to a farm near Malcom in 1965. Mrs. Sheets is survived by one daughter, Yvonne K. Innis of Grinnell; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lillian Walker of Newton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Patsy; one son, Robert; and one sister, Vivian Riley.
