Description	:	Mable June Friess, age 84, of Gravois Mills, passed away Friday, February 8, 2008, at the Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. She was born August 30, 1923, in Jamestown, Missouri the daughter of Elmer and Dorothy Dobson Binkley. She was united in marriage with William Otto Friess in December of 1978, and he preceded her in death on December 25, 1991. Mable worked for Pace Transportation in Independence as a school bus driver and as a public service bus driver until her retirement. She was a member of Mt. Read More	Mable June Friess, age 84, of Gravois Mills, passed away Friday, February 8, 2008, at the Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. She was born August 30, 1923, in Jamestown, Missouri the daughter of Elmer and Dorothy Dobson Binkley. She was united in marriage with William Otto Friess in December of 1978, and he preceded her in death on December 25, 1991. Mable worked for Pace Transportation in Independence as a school bus driver and as a public service bus driver until her retirement. She was a member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church in Independence and attended the First Baptist Church in Laurie. She was a member of the Versailles Eastern Star Chapter 410. She loved animals, was an avid quilter, and enjoyed collecting dolls, spoons, and thimbles. She is survived by three daughters, Mickey "Jo" Rhoades of Auburn, California, Laura Mae Gonzales of Chula Vista, California, and Dorothy J. Glenn of Gladstone, Missouri; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister Dorothy Deffenbaugh of Tucson, Arizona; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, her brother, E.E. "Doc" Binkley, and her beloved aunt, Doree Jobe, precede her in death. Funeral and Eastern Star services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 14, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie. Interment will be in the California City Cemetery in California, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the S.T.A.F.F. animal shelter in Laurie. To send online condolences to the family visit www.kidwellgarber.com.
