Description	:	Madeline Delores Bishop, age 90, of Glendive, Montana, formerly of Beach, North Dakota, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Glendive Medical Center Extended Care in Glendive. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Silha Funeral Home in Beach. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 12, 2018 at First Lutheran Church in Beach with Pastor Dana Holter officiating. Interment will take place at Beach Lutheran Cemetery. Read More	Madeline Delores Bishop, age 90, of Glendive, Montana, formerly of Beach, North Dakota, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Glendive Medical Center Extended Care in Glendive. Silha Funeral Home of Beach has been entrusted with the arrangements. Madeline was born on February 20, 1928 in Bethany, Missouri to Earl and Emma (Hippe) Jones. She lived there until her parents moved to Beach when she was a small child. Madeline was raised and educated in Beach and graduated from Beach High School with the class of 1946. After graduation, she attended Beauty School in Fargo. Madeline met her future husband, Verle “Bud” Bishop. The two were united in marriage on March 1, 1958 in Glendive. Madeline owned and operated her beauty shop out of her home for many years. Verle and Madeline bought Petrolane from Homer Madison in 1974 and together they operated it until 1986. Madeline kept the books. Madeline was very active in the First Lutheran Church and served in several positions including the Funeral Lunch Committee and Ladies Guild. She enjoyed to embroidery, was an excellent baker and loved her grandchildren. Madeline was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Emma Jones; her husband, Verle “Bud” Bishop; five brothers and a sister. Madeline is survived by her son, Bart (Trish) Bishop of Beach; her grandchildren, Jade Huffman of Bismarck, North Dakota, Jayce Huffman, Dawson Bishop, Seth Bishop and Acelynn Bishop of Beach; a great grandson, Jrexlee Huffman of Beach and numerous nieces and nephews.
