Description	:	Services will be held Friday, Feb. 9 at Second Reformed Church in Lennox for Madeline Cramer, who having been in declining health, died Friday evening, Feb. 2, 2007 at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center. She attained the age of 86 years, 11 months and 18 days. Officiating during the services will be the Rev. Harlan Hayunga. Pallbearers will be Madeline's grandsons: Steve Stratmeyer, Allen Stratmeyer, Terry Ebright, Don Buckneberg, Duane Lukes, and Darin Cramer. Madeline Luden was born Feb. 14, 1920, on a farm northeast of Hurley, SD, the daughter of Hypke and Gertrude (Larsen) Luden. She grew up in the Davis/Chancellor area attending rural school District #90 in Turner County. She graduated from Chancellor High School in 1938. On Jan. 24, 1940 she was united in marriage to David C. Cramer at Turner County First Presbyterian parsonage, rural Davis. Following their marriage they farmed near Wakonda, Davis and Chancellor. In 1965 they moved into Lennox. On Jan. 12, 1998, David died. Madeline continued to reside in Lennox. Madeline was a cook at Sioux Valley Hospital, a Food Supervisor at Dow Rummel Village and the Lennox Good Samaritan Center. She was a member of II Reformed Church in Lennox. Besides her parents and husband, Madeline was preceded in death by one sister, Luella Schulte. Survivors include, four children: Joyce (John) Stratmeyer, Tea, SD, Keith (Mary) Cramer, Oakville, WA, Larry (Linda) Cramer, Lennox, SD, Marilyn (Dennis) Ebright, Lennox, SD; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Fern Jones, Mitchell, SD, other relatives and friends.
