Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Sioux Center, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, Sioux Center. She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church, where she served as an organist and member of the Golden Hour Circle. She worked as a nursing assistant at the Sioux Center Community Hospital and Health Center. Survivors include her husband; five children, Donald of Denver, Colorado, Heddy Saxon, also of Denver, Paul of Baldwin City, Kansas, Benjamin of London, Ontario, Canada, and Gary M. of Sioux Center; four brothers, Lawrence Mouw and Peter Mouw, both of Sioux Center, Harold Mouw of Rochester, Minnesota, and Orvin Mouw of Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Ed (Berniece) Rozeboom and Mrs. Verne (Faye) Huisman, both of Sioux Center; and 12 grandchildren.
