Description	:	Molly ( Madeline) DeLaPointe, age 90, of Mott, North Dakota, passed away Thursday morning, December 28th, 2006, in the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Mott, North Dakota. Molly Drashil, daughter of Mary Schoeberle Drashil and Joseph Drashil, was born April 9, 1916 in Almont, North Dakota. Molly married Almore C. Read More	Molly ( Madeline) DeLaPointe, age 90, of Mott, North Dakota, passed away Thursday morning, December 28th, 2006, in the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Mott, North Dakota. Molly Drashil, daughter of Mary Schoeberle Drashil and Joseph Drashil, was born April 9, 1916 in Almont, North Dakota. Molly married Almore C. DeLaPointe in 1935, where they made their home in the New Leipzig and Elgin, North Dakota area. In 1947 they finally moved to the Mott area, where they spent the rest of their years together. Molly was a life long member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and member of the Catholic Daughter's Association. Prior to her husband's death in 1969, she completed Beauty College in Bismarck, and owned and operated Molly's Beauty Salon in Mott, North Dakota for over 14 years. Molly was a wonderful wife, kind and loving mother, very outspoken, but with a heart of gold. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. The last few years of her life she lived at the Good Samaritan Home in Mott, where she received fine thoughtful care, and where she developed many new loving friends. Molly was known as meticulous housekeeper, fine cook and candy maker. She especially enjoyed holidays where she delighted in making candy and sharing it with quite a few folks in the Mott area. Molly is survived by three sons, Almore (Patricia) of Hibbing, Minnesota; Patrick (Kathy) of Fargo, North Dakota; Dale (Chris) of Windsor, Colorado; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by a special care giver, Joletta Kern of Bismarck, North Dakota. Molly is preceded in death by her parents; a son Emmett; a sister, Mary Johnson; four brothers, Joseph, Adam, John and Edward Drashil. Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM (MST) January 2, 2007 at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Mott, North Dakota. Visitations: 1:00 to 7:30 p.m. (MST) January 1, 2007 at St. Vincent's Catholic Church and one hour prior to the Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning. Prayer Service: 7:30 PM (MST) January 1, 2007, at Evanson Jensen Funeral Home, Mott, North Dakota Interment: Sunny Slope Cemetery following the funeral service. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent's Church- Building Fund or Good Samaritan's Garden Fund, Mott, North Dakota.
