Description	:	Mrs. Madgerine "Madge" Ashburn Little, lifetime resident of the McCrory area, died Friday, June 21, 2013. She was 87 years of age. Visitation was from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday followed by funeral service at 2 p.m. at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home in McCrory. Interment was in Woodman Cemetery with Thompson-Wilson Directors in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Little was born in McCrory, the daughter of Ola and Pearl Atkins Ashburn. Read More	Mrs. Madgerine "Madge" Ashburn Little, lifetime resident of the McCrory area, died Friday, June 21, 2013. She was 87 years of age. Interment was in Woodman Cemetery with Thompson-Wilson Directors in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Little was born in McCrory, the daughter of Ola and Pearl Atkins Ashburn. She attended school in the Beards-Tipp Community and was married on December 31, 1947 to Charles Lee Little. Together they had four children, Charles Danny, Doyle, Kathy and Linda. Mrs. Little was the perfect example of a virtuous woman and set a good example for her children to follow and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, yard work, quilting, doing embroidery and cross stitch work but being a devoted wife, mother and grand and great-grandmother was her priority. Her family remembers the wonderful breakfast she always cooked for them and anyone that happened to drop by. No one ever left her house hungry. Survivors include two sons: Charles Danny "Charlie" Little and wife Diane and Doyle Little all of McCrory, two daughters: Kathy Taylor and husband Ken of Pottsville, AR. and Linda Clines and husband Ron of Jonesboro, six grandchildren: Aaron Little, Shana Robertson, Jeremy Beard, Jason Little, Austin Little and Garreth Clines, and seven great-grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ola and Pearl Ashburn, Husband of 49 years, Charles Little, one granddaughter, Kristen Nicole Little, one brother, Clarence Ashburn and one sister, Edith Dix. Pallbearers were Aaron, Jason and Austin Little, Jeremy Beard, Gareth Clines and Troy Robertson. Memorials may be sent to the Hospice Unit, 403 South Poplar Street, Searcy, AR 72143.
