Read More	Madonna May Woolley Wilson, 87, passed away at the Morris County Hospital on Saturday, August 24, 2013. She was born in Osborne, KS, on February 16, 1926 to Lawrence and Nora (Cox) Woolley. She attended and graduated from the Osborne schools in 1944. She attended Kansas State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in home economics in 1948. After graduating from K-State, Madonna taught home economics for one and one-half years in the Alta Vista and Eskridge schools. She married Thomas Sager Wilson on June 11, 1950 in Osborne, KS, and then moved to his family farm in Morris County. Sager preceded her in death on June 12, 2013 the day after the couple celebrated 63 loving years of marriage. To this happy union, six children were born: Ronald, Janet, Linda, Richard, Rodney and Nancy. Madonna was very active in local women's clubs and organizations. She was a charter member of Otetiani Women's Federated Club, and was the chairman of that club's scholarship committee, helping many college freshmen and sophomores. Madonna was a member of the First Congregational Church, FCC's Women's Fellowship, Nimble Fingers Sewing Club, Hobby Club, Uniondale pitch players, ASCS board member, and served many years on the local election boards. Having a teaching degree, Madonna was also a substitute teacher in the local schools. She was a great cook, loved flower arranging, and enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens until just a couple years ago. In recent years Madonna cultivated a passion for Fenton glass, being a member of Fenton Finders of Central Kansas, even traveling to, and touring, the Fenton Art Glass Company in Williamstown, W.V., with her daughter Linda and cousin Karen Cox. She is an avid supporter of Kansas State University, often wearing her purple attire, watching their games with her bowl of popcorn and yelling at the television or radio during their broadcasts. Madonna was preceded in death by her husband, Sager, and both of her parents. Madonna is survived by her children: Ronald (Marlene) of Wichita, Janet Stephenson of Grapevine, TX, Linda (Jerry) Borth, of St. George, Richard (Mary) of Garden City, Rodney (Dawn) of Hope, and Nancy Carroll of Council Grove; 10 grandchildren: Thomas and Amanda Wilson, Natalie Stephenson, Chris & Tracy Borth, Jessica and Jennifer Wilson, Blaker, Ethan and Michaela Carroll; 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson; five sisters: Ramona (Jim) Ruggles, Yankton, S.D., Lola Roberts, Pikeville, NC, Mary Ford, Goldsboro, N.C., Doris (Don) McReynolds, Chanute, Anita (Everett) Jenkins, Kansas City.
