Born in Cowpens, she was the daughter of the late Felix Edward Osment and Elsie Poole Osment. She retired from textiles and was a member of West End Baptist Church where she was active in the WMU for many years and a member of the “Jolly Bunch”. Born in Cowpens, she was the daughter of the late Felix Edward Osment and Elsie Poole Osment. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rodney Cook and Rev. Sandra Smith officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: West End Baptist Church, “Missions” 400 Overbrook Drive, Gaffney, SC 29341. The family will be at their respective homes.
