Born April 29, 1917, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late George S. and Elsie M. Keigle Webb. Twice married, she was the wife of the late Emerson M. Armiger and the late Herbert W. Royston. She was a graduate of Western High School, class of 1936. She was retired from Western Maryland Railroad after 30 years of service as secretary to the controller. Born April 29, 1917, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late George S. and Elsie M. Keigle Webb. Twice married, she was the wife of the late Emerson M. Armiger and the late Herbert W. Royston. She was a graduate of Western High School, class of 1936. She was retired from Western Maryland Railroad after 30 years of service as secretary to the controller. She was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge No. 70 in Towson and the Boumi Temple. Surviving are a stepson, R. Bruce Armiger of Shrewsbury, Pa.; sisters Virginia G. Bowen of Westminster and Pauline M. Mann of York, Pa.; grandchildren Richard E. Armiger and Anne McGlaughlin; and great-grandchildren Sophie B. and Leland S. Armiger, and Anya R. and and Olivia G. McGlaughlin. She was predeceased by a sister, Myrtle L. Hamer. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Carroll Lutheran Village, Krug Chapel, Westminster, with Chaplain Jimmie Schwartz officiating. Interment will be in Good Shepherd Cemetery in Ellicott City. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.
