The family would like to extend appreciation to all who cared for her. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Shiloh United Methodist Church. Mrs.. Coble was preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. Coble. She was also preceded in death by parents, Marvin and Cora Payne York; sisters, Mabel Hemphill and Anne Yoder; brother, Fred York. Coble was preceded in death by her husband, Walter G. Coble. She was also preceded in death by parents, Marvin and Cora Payne York; sisters, Mabel Hemphill and Anne Yoder; brother, Fred York. She outlived all step-children, John William Coble, W.G. Coble, and Charles Coble. Mrs.. Coble is survived by step-daughter- in-law, Ruth (W.G.) Coble; three step-grandsons; several nieces and nephews. She attended high school in Liberty, North Carolina, business school in Greensboro, N.C. and taught school at Monnett Schoolhouse. Afterwards, Mrs.. Coble worked as a lumber company bookkeeper and later in a hosiery mill. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. Later in life she pursued a love for growing flowers for florists and her hobbies were crocheting, tatting, gardening and associated rural life activities. The family will receive visitors at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty from 6 until 8 p.m. on Saturday.
