She was baptized and later confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wisner, NE. Maggie attended Cuming County Rural School District #7 and graduated from Wisner High School in 1948. Magdalene Violet (Rabe) Eschliman was born on the family farm near Wisner, NE on December 1, 1931 to Otto and Mary (Brehmer) Rabe. She was baptized and later confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wisner, NE. Maggie attended Cuming County Rural School District #7 and graduated from Wisner High School in 1948. On August 20, 1950, she was united in marriage to Cecil Eschliman at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Maggie had operated the Little Gem Café, the Schmidt House, worked at Hansen Cleaners and in the kitchen at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point, NE. After retiring she worked at the Wisner Senior Center for several years. Maggie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking and baking, playing cards, and spending time at the Senior Center. Survivors include- Son-Jerry and Lovie Eschliman of Omaha, NE and family- Heather and Tim Noerrlinger and family-Abra, Layton, Clare, Spencer and Micah Matthew and Ashley Eschliman and family-Brayden and Serenity Chelsea and Asthon Lackas Daughter-Jeanne and Bob Collins of Norfolk, NE and daughter- Melissa and Matthew Behrens and children-Everett and Reese Daughter- Mary Beth Eschliman of Norfolk, NE Son- Robert and Linda Eschliman of Lincoln, NE and daughter- Logan Eschliman Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, husband-Cecil on February 18, 2014, infant daughter-Cathy Jo, one brother, and nine sisters. Interment will be in the Wisner Cemetery.
