Magdelon Beatrice was born on September 17th, 1916 to E.J. and Elizabeth (Malloy) Turgeon in Sioux City, Iowa. She was raised in Sioux Falls, graduating from Washington High in 1936. On June 20, 1938 “Bea” was united in marriage to Floyd LeMair in Sioux Falls. Together the couple became loving parents to their five children. Bea was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and The Cathedral of St. Joseph. She was very active in the church and enjoyed various volunteer work. Bea loved playing bridge and enjoyed company from friends and family. Faith and family were truly her greatest passions. Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Mary JoAnn DeSio of Morro Bay, CA, Paul (Mary Ann) LeMair of Sioux Falls, Delores Hanson of Sioux Falls, Greg (Sharon) LeMair of Sioux Falls and Jeffrey LeMair of Sioux Falls; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Floyd; siblings, Inez, Bernice, Emile, Richard, Madonna, Priscilla, Maxine, Zane and Vance; sons-in-law, Henry DeSio and Marvin Hanson; granddaughter, Brooke LeMair; and great-grandson, Curtis David LeMair. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Saturday, May 25th, 2019 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Sioux Falls. Visitation with family present 5:00 – 7:00 pm with a rosary beginning at 4:30 pm and a prayer service beginning at 7:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home – downtown, 507 S. Main Ave., Sioux Falls. Interment St. Michael Cemetery. - Miller Funeral Home
