Description	:	Malinda Parks was the daughter of Jacob and Mary Bolling Stout. Both are buried in the Parks/Stout Cemetery on the old Parks homestead. Malinda married George Washington Parks on March 2, 1832. They had 7 children: Henry G, Wm C, Mary Jane, Maletha Ann, Susan G, Jacob Rankin, Leb Thadeus, and Issac Wellons Parks. Malinda was very active in the Parks Crossroads Church. GW and Malinda cared for Thomas Parks in his later years. He was aging and left crippled by injury. The brothers of GW began to feud over the old man's land and money accusing GW of spending too... Read More	Malinda Parks was the daughter of Jacob and Mary Bolling Stout. Testimony was given at trial that Thomas Parks was helpless and unable to walk. He took to cursing. Many testified that no amount of money would have caused them to care for the old man. One daughter was quoted as saying that Malinda took better care of Thomas than she would have. GW and Malinda are both buried in the Parks Crossroads Cemetery.
