Description	:	Nanomone'e "Peace Woman" Mamie was the daughter of James and Sally Crazymule Bites. She was educated in Busby, and married Milton Eaglefeathers. Together, they made their home in Busby, later moving to Lame Deer. Mamie was a member of the Native American Church, and worked as a cook for the Head Start program. Mamie was a generous person, and she lent herself to help others in need. She enjoyed attending sporting events, Sun Dances, and spending time with her children. At the time of her journey, Mamie was survived by two daughters, one son. their partners, her adopted children, a sister, 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters Milene, Delpha, and Twila, brother James Bites-Spear Jr., and sister Florence Whiteman.
