Morrison, 46, of Laurel, died Monday at 2:45 a.m. at his home at 416 Dale avenue. He was employed in the yard office of the Northern Pacific Railroad company. Though he had suffered from a heart ailment for several years, he did not become seriously ill until late Sunday night and he had attended church services earlier in the evening. He was born Nov. 23, 1898, at Huntsville, Ark., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry T. Morrison. On Nov 26, 1916, he married Jewel Phillips in Arkansas. They came to Roberts in 1918. In 1920 they moved to Joliet, and in 1929 to Laurel. Besides his widow, Mr. Morrison is survived by two sons, Staff Sergeant Delmer E. Morrison, with the air corps in France, and Athmer[Ethmer] P Morrison of Laurel; one daughter Miss Mary Lorraine of Laurel, one brother, Yule Morrison of Oklahoma, and two sisters, Mrs. Harold Wilson of Laurel and Mrs. James Lochridge, 410 North Twenty-fifth street, Billings. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Laurel. The body is at Settergren's funeral home. FUNERAL: The Billings Gazetet, Thursday 19 Jul 1945 - MORRISON - July 16, Mancil L. Morrison, Laurel Funeral services Friday at 2:30 from the Church of the Nazarene in Laurel. Interment in the Laurel cemetery.
