Va., died, after an illness of several weeks, at her home in Shelby, Nebr., Aug. 17, 1918, aged 74 years. She was married Dec. 31, 1861, to Henry C. Stalnaker. To this union were born five children, three of whom, along with her aged husband, survive her; also fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Va., died, after an illness of several weeks, at her home in Shelby, Nebr., Aug. 17, 1918, aged 74 years. She was married Dec. 31, 1861, to Henry C. Stalnaker. To this union were born five children, three of whom, along with her aged husband, survive her; also fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. For ten years after their marriage Brother and Sister Stalnaker resided in West Virginia. They moved to Shelby, Nebr., in 1871. Forty years ago she made the good confession, uniting with the M. E. Church. For the last twenty-two years of her life she has been a faithful member of the Church of the Brethren. In spite of weariness and pain, her mind remained clear to the end, a prayer being her last audible utterance. Services in the U. B. Church at Shelby, Nebr., by the writer, assisted by Rev. Savery, of the United Brethren Church, and Rev. Carr of the M. E. Church.
