Description	:	MaraLee Ellen Snodgrass Jagger, 83, a resident of Columbia City, died at 10:05 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2006, at The Oaks Living Center, where she had been a resident since Feb. 15, 2006. She was born Nov. 11, 1922, in Whitley County, a daughter of Harry and Tressa Neoma (Dinius) Osborn. She spent her formative years in Columbia City. She was born Nov. 11, 1922, in Whitley County, a daughter of Harry and Tressa Neoma (Dinius) Osborn. She spent her formative years in Columbia City. She was educated at the West Ward School and graduated from Columbia City High School in 1940. On May 25, 1940, she was united in marriage to William C. Snodgrass. In 1944, they moved to a farm in Etna Troy Township. Mr. Snodgrass died Feb. 9, 1983. She was employed at Whitley County Co-op, later called the Noble-Whitley County Co-op, for 25 years. On Feb. 2, 1985, she was united in marriage to Gerald W. Jagger. They made their home on the Jagger farm in Thorncreek Township. Mr. Jagger died June 30, 2003. She attended St. Mathews United Methodist Church and was a member of the First Church of God and the Thorncreek Townshop Home Demonstration Club. She was also a member of Whitley County Extension Homemakers since 1941 and served as a past president, vice president and secretary. Surviving relatives include two daughters, Mary A. (Rex) Juillerat of Larwill and Martha J. Bolinger of South Whitley, three step-sons, Gail M. (Patty) Jagger, Gary D. Jagger and Kevin L. (Dana) Jagger, all of Columbia City, six grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 21 step-great-grandchildren, and a brother, Richard Osborn of Citrus Springs, Fla. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Jagger, a son-in-law, Daniel Bolinger, a step-grandson, and a brother, Benjamin Osborn. The funeral service is at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Smith & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Gene Rohrer officiating. The burial is at Pleasant Grove (Snodgrass) Cemetery. The visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. For those who wish, memorials may be made to St. Matthew's United Methodist Church.
