Description	:	The funeral for Marcella A. Geck, 92, of Fremont will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Fremont. She died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, at Select Specialty Hospital in Omaha. Marcella A. Buzynski was born Sept. 9, 1914, in Richland to Peter and Rose (Jazwick) Buzynski. She grew up in Columbus and was a 1933 graduate of St. Bonaventure High School. She married Frank E. Geck on Aug. 4, 1936, in Columbus; he died Dec. 9, 1998. Buzynski was born Sept. 9, 1914, in Richland to Peter and Rose (Jazwick) Buzynski. She grew up in Columbus and was a 1933 graduate of St. Bonaventure High School. She married Frank E. Geck on Aug. 4, 1936, in Columbus; he died Dec. 9, 1998. She lived in St. Paul, Central City and Scribner before moving to Fremont in 1956. She was employed by the former Hinky Dinky Grocery Store as a cashier. She was a volunteer with the Grey Ladies at Memorial Hospital for 16 years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and former member of the Altar Society and St. Joan of Arc Circle. Survivors include: a daughter, Janet (Mrs. Steve) Fosbinder of Fremont; three sons, Robert (and wife, Loretta) Geck of Alexandria, Va., James (and wife, Gayle) Geck of Sterling, Colo. and John (and wife, Terri) Geck of Greenville, S.C.; a brother, Dr. Don (and wife, Helen) Wass of Dallas; a sister, Dr. Rosemary Wass of Yankton, S.D.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Orletha Elliott and Marie Stoltenberg, and two brothers, the Revs. Meldon Wass and Lauren Buzynski. Published in the Fremont Tribune January 2, 2007
