She is survived by : her former husband Charles Feser; her children, Pam of Lincoln, NE and Bob (Jodi) of Cherokee, IA; and her grandchildren, Christina, Michael, David and Daniel Feser. - - - - - - - - - - - 1882~1982 Defiance (Iowa) Century Review CHARLES AND SALLY FESER Charles John Feser was born on a farm near Dunlap on November 1, 1923. His father, Anthony, was born April 29, 1892, on a farm near Westphalia, and his mother, Elizabeth Dresen Altman Feser, was born March 17, 1896 near Earling. Charles had a half brother, Kenneth, and a half sister, Grace; three step-sisters, Marie, Virginia and Velma; three brothers, Norbert, James and John; and four sisters, Ruth, Betty, Arlene and Maxine. The Feser family moved to a farm south of Defiance in 1926. Charles and Marcella (Sally) Bogler, born October 28, 1924, were married on April 24, 1950. She is the daughter of Joseph Sr. and Martha Kliethermes Bogler and has a brother, Joe Jr., and sister, Janis Blum. Both Charles and Sally graduated in 1941 from St. Paul's High School. After graduation Charles farmed for a few years, then established Defiance Oil Co. in April 1949, which they still operate out of their home. Their children are: Pamela, C.R.N.A., lives in Omaha and is employed at St. Joseph Hospital, and Robert, O.D., lives at Chariton, Iowa and practices optometry.
