Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 19 at Woodlawn Christian Church, Lake City, with Rev. John Claussen officiating Interment was made in the Lake City Cemetery. Marcella Farber, daughter of Lonnie and Alice Farber, was born May 16, 1923, in Lake City. On July 6, 1938, she married Russel Daisy in Estherville. On July 6, 1938, she married Russel Daisy in Estherville. She and her husband operated their family business, Daisy Hauling, in Lake City. Mr. Daisy died in 1989. Mr. Daisy served as Historian of the Stewart Memorial Community Hospital Auxiliary for many years, was Secretary of Christian Women Fellowship, and President of Church Women United. She received her GED from Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge in March, 1982. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; 2 grandchildren, Mechelle Meier and Travis Kruckenberg; 2 sisters, Dorothea Farber and Evelyn Light; and 3 brothers, Lonnie J., Earl and Arthur Farber. Survivors include her children, Marilyn Wheeler, Lonnie Daisy, and Arthur Daisy, all of Lake City; Alice Kruckenberg, Lytton; Sharon Meier, Clare; Richard Daisy Cherokee; and Roger Daisy, Millersville, Missouri; 3 brothers, C. Orville Farber, Hillsboro, Oregon; Jon A. Farber, Sherwood, Oregon; and Dale N. Farber, Stewart Manor, New York; and one sister, Dolly Potter, Clackamas, Oregon; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Lake City Advocate May 20, 1992
