Description	:	Marcella Jane Oliver was born January 25, 1923 to Samuel W. and Ethel May VanNess Oliver in Jackson Twp Harrison County, Iowa . She married Earnest Floyd Misfeldt on May 20, 1943 and they began farming on the Misfeldt family farm west of Moorhead, Iowa. Their son Thomas Craig was born March 7, 1945. Earnest and she farmed until the spring of 1953, when they had an auction, selling all their farm equipment. They then moved into Moorhead next door to his parents Henry and Tena. She married Earnest Floyd Misfeldt on May 20, 1943 and they began farming on the Misfeldt family farm west of Moorhead, Iowa. Their son Thomas Craig was born March 7, 1945. Earnest and she farmed until the spring of 1953, when they had an auction, selling all their farm equipment. They then moved into Moorhead next door to his parents Henry and Tena. Marcy worked in the Post Office and the Moorhead Bank, and he became the agent of Standard Oil . Tom, Marcy and Earnie were baptized into the Moorhead Christian Church and were active in community. Tom graduated from East Monona High school in 1963. After Earnie's death in May of 1966, Marcy and Tom sold the house and business and moved to Sioux City. There Marcy worked for Morningside College and Tom attended classes. Tom graduated in 1968 and Marcy took a teaching position in Orange City where she met a widower named Marve Grotenhuis. They were married in June of 1970. In retirement Marve and Marcy moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas where she passed in August of 1995.
