Description	:	MARCELLA LUCILLE SHAFFER (nee Weaver) Age 73, of Portage, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2004. She was born September 13, 1930 in Culver, IN to the late Owen and Anna (nee Plotner) Weaver and had been an area resident since 1951. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Leon Shaffer; 3 daughters, Joyce (Tom) Damron & Barbara (Bill) Evans, both of Lake Station and Kay (Don) Trowbridge, of Valparaiso; 13 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren. Funeral services Tuesday, February 3, 2004, 11 a.m. at the Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, IN, Rev. Clarence Trowbridge, officiating. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Portage. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society. Visitation Monday, February 2, 2004 from 2-8 p.m. at the Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
