Description	:	Kearney resident, 83 KEARNEY - Marcella M. Ruder, 83, of Kearney died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Mount Carmel Home Keens Memorial. Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney with the Rev. Peggy Michael-Rush officiating. Burial will be at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Collyer, Kan. She was born Jan. 7, 1929, in Collyer to John and Julianna (Brungardt) Romey. On Sept. 11, 1944, she married Celestine "Rudy" Ruder in Hays, Kan. They divorced. In 1980, she married Darrel Woodside. He died in 2010. Survivors include her sons, Ronald Ruder of Kearney and Lawrence Ruder of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter; Kathleen Herrick of Kearney; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She grew up in and attended school in Collyer. She and Darrel lived in Kearney and she worked at Baldwin Filters from 1961 to 1992. She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary in Kearney. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery and sewing. She was a collector of old cookie jars, Avon bottles, teddy bears, country music records and movies.
