She grew up on a farm near Corsica, SD, and attended New Holland Christian Grade School and graduated in 1970 from Dakota Christian High School in New Holland, SD. On December 9, 1972, Marcia married David Kuipers at the New Holland Christian Reformed Church. Their marriage was blessed with five sons. David and Marcia lived and worked side-by-side on their farm, their flooring installation business, on their family vacations and visits to their kids and grandkids. The partnership they had was unique; they were truly a team. Marcia is remembered for her ever-present smile, infectious laugh, dedication to hard work, and enduring commitment to her family. Marcia was constantly serving others; no one in Marcia's life underwent a trial of any kind without a meal, visit, or helpful hand. Marcia enjoyed gardening, sewing and reading. David and Marcia traveled often, and Marcia enjoyed the stories and friendships that resulted from their vacations as much as she enjoyed the trip itself. But what she loved above all else were her 11 grandchildren. They were a source of her truest and purest joy. Marcia was preceded in death by: maternal and paternal grandparents; a niece, Marlee; a brother-in-law, Ray; and a sister-in-law, Maureen.
