Description	:	Marcilla was the daughter of Christopher and Cintha Harris. She married Edward Schreiber on Feb 24, 1868 in Ridott, Illinois. August 18, 1921 - Carroll Times - Marcella A. Harris, daughter of Christopher and Cintha Harris, was born October 13, 1849, in the state of Ohio, and died in Carroll, Ia., August 13, 1921. She moved to Illinois with her parents, when a baby and grew to womanhood in that state. Her marriage to Edward C. Schreiber took place at Ridott, Illinois, February 24, 1868. They moved to Madison county, Iowa, in 1868 and came to Carroll county in February, 1876. To this union were born 10 children, one son dying in infancy, and one daughter, Mrs. Laura Dankel, dying September 9, 1920. The surviving children are: Mrs. Mary McCurdy, of Cartersville, Mont.; Mrs. Jane Zuidhof, of Grinnell, Ia.; Mrs. Effie Vaughn, of Coon Rapids, Ia.; Mrs. Dora Maze, of Carroll, Ia.; Fred Schreiber, of Spirit Lake, Ia.; Mrs. Dollie Baden, of Lanesboro, Ia.; Mrs. Maude Hill, of Worthing, S.D.; and Mrs. Ruby Baden, of Pharr, Tex. Besides her children she is survived by her husband, 33 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. She also leaves two brothers, William Harris and Monroe Harris, and a sister, all of Minnesota. She united with the United Brethen church at Carrollton, Ia., about 5 years ago and remained a member until her death. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. W.H. Parker officiating. The pall bearers were her six grandsons. All the children were present at the funeral with the exception of Mrs. Mary McCurdy, of Cartersville, Mont., and Mrs. Ruby Baden of Pharr, Texas.
