"Mrs. Shea was born in Norwich, October 9, 1876, the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Kelly McNamara, her maiden name being Margaret A. McNamara. She married John J. Shea January 10, 1901, Rev. J. J. Smith officiating, at St. Mary's church. The deceased was held in high esteem by her many friends, who will sincerely regret her death and the sympathy of the community will be extended to the family in their great loss. "Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, John, aged eight, and, leaves two brothers, John McNamara of Vancouver, B. C. and Andrew T. Funeral from her late home, 472 Boswell avenue, at 8.30 Friday morning. Services at St Mary's church at 9 o'clock. Saturday, February 3, 1912 Mrs. John J. Shea. "The funeral of Margaret A. McNamara, wife of John J. Shea, was held from her late home, No. 472 Boswell avenue, Friday morning. The large attendance of mourners included relatives from Providence and New York and a delegation from Thames lodge, N. E. O. P. At the services in St. Mary's church at 9 o'clock Rev. John H. Fitzmaurice was celebrant of the solemn high mass of requiem, Rev. Hugh Treanor was deacon and Rev. William H. Kennedy subdeacon. Jesus, Saviour of My Soul, was rendered by Horace C. Corning, and a solo was rendered by Miss Josette Lavalle. Burial was in the family lot in St. Mary's cemetery, where a committal service was conducted by Fathers Fitzmaurice and Kennedy. "The bearers were Joseph and Edward Bellefleur, Michael C. and Patrick F. Shea, Frank J. Curran and James J. Kirby. "The flowers included a pillow marked Wife, star with the word Mamma, pillow with the word Sister, standing wreath marked Maggie from Mr. and Mrs. Michael Shea and family, pillow marked Aunt from the children of Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse Bellefleur, cross with the word Auntie from the children of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew F. McNamara of Providence, crescent from A. R. Portelance and family, floral form from Thames lodge, N. E. O. P., carnations from Miss Mary E. Duggan, Miss Helen E. Drescher, Mrs. Wilbur E. Baldwin, Mr. and Mrs. William McNeely, Mrs. John Gregson, Mrs. M. J. Fields, Ladies' Sewing club and a friend. P. B. G." February 6, 1912 CARD OF THANKS.
