The late Mrs. Armstrong Huston – Margaret A. Mitchell was born in Washington county, Indiana, on June 25, 1846 and died at the farm home near Geneva, Neb., on February 5, 1908, at 10:05 a. m. Mitchell was born in Washington county, Indiana, on June 25, 1846 and died at the farm home near Geneva, Neb., on February 5, 1908, at 10:05 a. m. She was married to John A. Zaring in 1869 and to Armstrong Huston of New Philadelphia, Ind., on September 19, 1877. Three children mourn her loss: Clarence A. Zaring by her first marriage, Eudora and Nellie Huston by her second marriage. These will forever recall a noble Christian mother's influence. The family removed to California in 1888, where they have since resided. Mrs. Huston was converted in young womanhood and united with the Methodist Episcopal church. Her loving care and tender sympathy were most marked in behalf of those in need who came in the circle of the family or wider acquaintance. Gentle and patient, she bore with rare fortitude the burdens of illness which came to her in her last years. The husband, children and relatives have the sympathy of many in their deep affection. The funeral will take place from the Methodist church at 1:30 p. m. tomorrow. Interment will be in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal, February 7th, 1908 page 2.
