Description	:	Miss Margaret Adair died in the hospital at Owatonna, Minn., Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 17, 1928, at the age of 68 years. Her death came within two weeks after that of her sister, Mrs. Jennie Carstensen, who died here. The deceased was the daughter of tbe late Mr. and Mrs. James Adair, early settlers, and she was born on a farm a short distance north of Waverly. Read More	Miss Margaret Adair died in the hospital at Owatonna, Minn., Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 17, 1928, at the age of 68 years. Her death came within two weeks after that of her sister, Mrs. Jennie Carstensen, who died here. The deceased was the daughter of tbe late Mr. and Mrs. James Adair, early settlers, and she was born on a farm a short distance north of Waverly. Miss Adair atended the rural and Waverly schools and continued to live in Waverly up to several months ago when she went to the home of her brother, James Adair, at Owatonna. Her health had been failing for some time previous and she, was compelled to give up her work as dressmaker at which she had been engaged for a number of years. An examination revealed that she was afflicted with cancer and she was given the best of care at her brother's home. But on her condition becoming worse she was taken to the hospital for treatment, and was a patient there for several weeks. Miss Adair was a life long member of the Baptist church and was faithful in her duties. She was a woman who had a pleasing manner and was well known to the residents of Waverly. The body arrived here last Thursday evening, accompanied by Mrs. James Adair, Mr. Adair coming the following morning. The funeral was held from the Baptist church Friday afternoon, the Rev. W. A. Simmons officiating. Burial Was in Andrews cemetery in Lafayette township. Obituary supplied by Richard Creger.
