Description	:	From the April 10, 1903 Skidmore Standard (Skidmore, Missouri), page 1, column 4: "Obituary. Mrs. Margaret A. Lindsey (nee Cunningham) was born in Parke County, Indiana, Oct. 22, 1847. She moved with her parents to Minnesota at the age of 14 years. There she was married to Thos. H. Lindsey on the 21 day of May, 1863. They emigrated to Missouri in 1873 where they have since resided. She departed this life April 4, 1903, her age being 55 years , 5 months and 12 days. She was the mother of 17 children, 9 sons and 8 daughters. ... Read More	From the April 10, 1903 Skidmore Standard (Skidmore, Missouri), page 1, column 4: "Obituary. Mrs. Margaret A. Lindsey (nee Cunningham) was born in Parke County, Indiana, Oct. 22, 1847. She moved with her parents to Minnesota at the age of 14 years. There she was married to Thos. H. Lindsey on the 21 day of May, 1863. They emigrated to Missouri in 1873 where they have since resided. She departed this life April 4, 1903, her age being 55 years , 5 months and 12 days. She was the mother of 17 children, 9 sons and 8 daughters. Her husband, 13 children and 22 grandchildren survive her. She was a devoted wife and an affectionate mother and was respected by her many friends and neighbors. Mrs. Lindsey united with the Graham Baptist church in 1895 and lived a devoted Christian life. The funeral services were conducted at her home by her pastor, Rev. Bennite. Undertaker A. C. Dodds had charge of the funeral arrangements. She was borne to her last resting place in the Groves cemetery by F. L. Miller, U. S. Gaddy, A. L. Forcade, Peter Forcade, Miles Cook and Greene Mast. Sweetly she slumbers, Her sickness is o'er; The love of her friends She needeth no more. Her work it is done -- She has crossed o'er the river To rest from her labors Forever and ever. And when this life is done, And on earth no more we tread, We expect to see our dear mother In the paradise of God." From the April 10, 1903 Skidmore Standard, page 1, column 6: "Card of Thanks. We desire to thank the kind friends and neighbors for their help in the sickness and death of our dear mother and wife. Thos. W. Lindsey and family." From the Skidmore Standard, April 10, 1903, page 4, column 3: "Uncle Prior Cunningham, from Oregon, attended the funeral of his sister, Mrs. Lindsey, Sunday, and is making a short visit in this neighborhood."
