Description	:	Margaret A. Henrichs, 90, of St. Edward died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Albion. The Rev. Larry Sydow will officiate. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Albion. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Levander Funeral Home in Albion. Mrs. Henrichs was born Nov. 3, 1912, at Dallas, Gregory County, S.D. She was preceded in death by her husband, George D. Henrichs, in 1989. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret A. and Leon Magsamen and Carol Anderson, all of Albion, and Mary Lou and Dennis Wiekhorst of Omaha; two sons and daughters-in-law, August and Lori Henrichs of Burwell and David and Connie Henrichs of Albion; a sister, Caroline McGill of Spokane, Wash.; and a brother, Charles "Chuck" Jansen of Greeley, Colo. Other survivors include 11 grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She grew up with her family in the Dallas area while living in a sod house and received her education from area schools. On Dec.. 30, 1930, Margaret was united in marriage to George D. Henrichs. Following their marriage, they moved to a farmstead west of Albion near the old District 44 School. They then moved to a farm south of Cedar Rapids for a short time before returning to the farm west of Albion, where they remained. George passed away in 1989 and Margaret stayed living on the farm until 1992, when she moved into the Parkview Apartments in Albion. A short time later she moved to the Cloverlodge Care Center in St. Edward, where she lived for three years. Margaret then moved to Burwell, where she lived with her son, August, for about three years. She then returned to Cloverlodge Care Center. It was there that she passed away on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at 90 years of age. Margaret was a member of the Crochet Club, BCNU Extension Club, Ladies Aide and the Zion Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed her garden, needlework and spending time with her grandchildren. Margaret was also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Della Mae; a grandson, Aaron Henrichs; six sisters; a brother; a son-in-law, Gayle Anderson; and a daughter-in-law, Beth Henrichs.
