It is a time of sorrow to us all but especially to those whose have touched her most closely. Margaret A. Hunt was born in Tuscarawas county, Ohio, December 2, 1841, and died at her home in north Osceola August 5, 1919. She was a daughter of Ephraim and Hanna DeLong and moved with her parents to Clarke county, Iowa, at the age of 12. She was united in marriage to Frederick Hunt December 9, 1860. To this union were born three children, Leonard Riley, Charity Ellen and D. B. Hunt. The husband preceded her over the great divide eighteen years ago and the youngest son, Duward, two years and some months ago. She united with the Christian church at the age of 16 years and was a firm believer in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved her Bible and daily read from its pages. The 91st and 37th Psalms were among her favorites. She was a true Christian, a loving mother, a devoted wife and a loyal friend and neighbor. She will be sorely missed by the son and daughter whose loving hands have ministered to her for so many years. Mrs. Hunt leaves a son and daughter besides a host of relatives and friends, who mourn her departure. Funeral services were held from the Christian church Thursday afternoon, August 7th at 3 p. m. and the sermon was delivered by Rev. C S. Kleckner of the Onawa Christian church.
