Description	:	On the sixth of August, 1859, there came to bless the home of John and Margaret Harpham, their eighth child, a daughter, whom the father and mother christened Margaret Ann. In this pioneer Steuben county, Indiana, home this young bud of life blossomed into girlhood. Then came schooldays and the consequent development of mind and body. At the age of eighteen, on March 28, 1878, she was united in marriage to I. D. Deller and a home was immediately established on the farm just west of Pleasant Lake which has continued to be their place of abode to the present time.... In this pioneer Steuben county, Indiana, home this young bud of life blossomed into girlhood. Then came schooldays and the consequent development of mind and body. At the age of eighteen, on March 28, 1878, she was united in marriage to I. D. Deller and a home was immediately established on the farm just west of Pleasant Lake which has continued to be their place of abode to the present time. Motherhood was hers to enjoy for to this union were born two children, Geneva, now Mrs. O. W. Chasey, of Angola, Ind., and Ford, Dr. C. F. Deller, of Toledo, O. In this home there ever radiated that glowing hospitality coming out of love and true devotion. A faithful wife, loving mother, kind and thoughtful neighbor, is an abiding memory those left to mourn their loss will ever cherish. Her loving heart and consideration for the welfare of others was beautifully manifested in that she took into her home and cared for as her very own, first Lloyd Clermont Deller, a nephew and later Gladys DelGuerra, a young girl left motherless at the age of six. Although neither of these foster children out-lived her, the impressions of her tender and loving care were made upon them indellibly and for many years she could cherish the thought of a real Christian service done for the need of others; in fact her life was one of service. Born in a Christian home her young mind absorbed the principles there taught and early in life she manifested her love of Christ and made public her confession of this faith by joining the U.B. church at Mount Zion, where she has ever been an adent worker. The Ladies' Aid society was organized through her untiring efforts and she was honored by being its first president, serving in a like capacity at different times, and was its honored president at the time of her demise, July 7, 1922. Of the family of nine children seven have departed this life and there remain beside the immediate family, husband, son and daughter, two beloved brothers, Samuel of Gary, Ind., and George Harpham of Pleasant Lake, Ind., two grandchildren, Paul Deller and Margaret Adeline, son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. W. Chasey, and scores of nieces and nephews in whose memory the love of their Aunt Anna will ever abide in all its freshness. The sentiment of father and children can best be expressed in these words: Mother-- God sent the birds and sunshine, To gladden all the world, He sent the foliage and flowers In radiance unfurled. He sent the June, the stars, the moon, The pearly dewdrops sweet, And then He sent you Mother dear, To make it all complete. The funeral services were held at Mount Zion church at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 9, 1922, Rev. R. B. Parker officiating.
