Description	:	MARGARET ANN was the daughter of John Johnson and Margaret (Tosh) Johnson. Her birth date is recorded in the Tosh Family Bible. Her father died in 1846, and her mother in 1858. Two siblings, Cangada and Francis, died in 1852 and 1856 respectively. In 1860 the four remaining Johnson siblings--Nancy, Margaret Ann, John Wesley and George Washington Johnson--were living in the households of separate area families. She became the second wife of William Pierce Belew on September 18, 1881, in Carroll County, Tennessee, making her the stepmother of the ten children of William Pierce Belew and his first wife, Elizabeth (Chambers) Belew. Elizabeth had died about 1879. Margaret Ann and William Pierce Belew were the parents of only one son, George Raburn Belew. There is NO KNOWN GRAVESTONE for Margaret's grave; however, her Tennessee Death Certificate states that she was buried in "Sellers Graveyard." Her sister Nancy Johnson (1840-1915), brother George Washington Johnson (1845-1921), and three of George's children, are also buried in this cemetery.
