Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Spalding with the Revs. Don Buhrman, James Murphy and Walter Phelan officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery at Spalding. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with a prayer service at 7, at St. Michael's Church. Dolce Scheef Mortuary in Spalding is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Huhman was born on Nov. 27, 1927, at Spalding to Frank and Margaret (Diessner) Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Keith Lantz and Michael Huhman, and a son, Thomas Lantz. Survivors of the immediate family include three sons and three daughters-in-law, Elaine (Mrs. Tom) Lantz of Omaha, Dan and Jean Lantz of Bennington, John and Debbie Lantz of Grand Island and Michael Huhman and his special friend, Brenda, of Bartlett; two daughters and sons-in-law, Helen and David Follrich of Auburn and Mary and William Garrett of Auburn; three sisters, Bernice Brown of Omaha, Sister Helen Sullivan of Chicago and Frances Kovarek of Rapid City, S.D.; and a brother, Gene Sullivan of Grand Island. Also surviving are one granddaughter, Nicole Lantz; three stepgranddaughters, Heather Schreiner, Danielle Tibbetts and Shannon Andazola; one great-grandson; five great-granddaughters; one great-great-grandson; and many other relatives and friends. Margaret started her elementary schooling at Country School District 35. Later she received her education and graduated from Spalding Academy in 1945. She worked at the Spalding City Bank for a short time and then went to Omaha, where she was a typist at Mutual of Omaha Insurance Co. She met Keith Lantz, and they were married on May 6, 1950, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Spalding. To this union were born three sons and two daughters, Thomas, Daniel, John, Helen and Mary. She returned to Spalding and worked at Spalding City Bank, Spalding Livestock Market, Spalding Hotel and People's Service Station. Keith passed away in September 1967. Margaret married Michael Huhman in May 1968 at St. Michael's rectory. They had one son, Michael. Margaret was a member of St. Michael's Church, St. Ann's Altar Society and the American Legion Auxiliary. Margaret will be remembered for her "gift of gab" and friendly personality. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; her parents, Frank and Margaret Sullivan; a son, Thomas Lantz; grandson, Chris Lantz; and sister, Marie (Mrs. Mike) Pfeifer.
