Burial was in Arlington Cemetery. Sarepta Chapter 48, Order of the Eastern Star conducted O.E.S. services at the funeral home on Monday. Margaret A. (Brenizer) Marshall was born May 6, 1885, at Bennett, Nebraska. She grew up at Bennett and graduated from Bennett High School. She received her teaching certificate from Peru State Normal School and taught for seven years in Lancaster County Schools. She married Chester G. “Chet” Marshall November 26, 1912, at Lincoln. After their marriage, they settled at Arlington where Mr. Marshall was associated with Marshall Nurseries. She was a member of the Arlington Community Church, was a member for over 50 years and past worthy matron of Sarepta Chapter 48, Order of the Eastern Star in Arlington and was the first woman member of and served several years on the Arlington School Board. She was a member of Lewis and Clark Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution and of the Fremont Woman’s Club, both of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chet, on April 22, 1970. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Young of Fremont and Mrs. Frances Rosen of Midwest City, Oklahoma. Two grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive her. Pallbearers were Howard Marshall, Dr. Jack Cady, Michael Eason, Virgil Frye, Howard Edmondson and LeRoy Brown. Mrs. Kay Voss was organist. Elaine Cady and Mrs. Marilyn Otto provided the vocal music.
