Her death occurred at Aurora, following years of failing health, on December 13, 1978 at the age of 91 years, 2 months and 14 days. She has spent her entire lifetime in Aurora and in later years had cared for her aging parents until their passing. Margaret was educated in the public schools of Aurora, where she graduated from high school in 1909. She was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church, having joined the church on July 20, 1905. Her parents, sister, Mrs. Anna Hanke and three brothers, Harvey, Frank and Charles Stenson had preceded her in death. She was the last of her immediate family and her only survivors are one sister-in-law, Mrs. Charles Stenson of Aurora and several nieces and nephews and other relatives and close friends.
