Mrs Dunn was born Margaret E Gannon at St Louis August 28, 1864, a daughter of Mr and Mrs Thomas Gannon. Thirty-one years ago the Gannon family came to this county, settling six miles north of St Anthony in the Dunn settlement. At Radcliffe, January 8, 1884, Miss Gannon became the wife of Mr Dunn, and went to the Dunn settlement to live. For thirteen years Mr and Mrs Dunn lived in the Dunn settlement and in St Anthony and came to this city seventeen years ago. Six children were born to Mrs Dunn and four of them are living. They are Mrs John Swab, J A Dunn, Bernadetta and Edward Dunn, all of this city. A son, Henry, died at the age of 19 on January 28, 1904. Another son, Thomas, died in infancy twenty-six years ago. In addition to her husband and four children Mrs Dunn is survived by her aged mother, Mrs Elizabeth Gannon, three brothers and two sisters. The brothers are John E Gannon of St Anthony, James Gannon of Mason City and T H Gannon of Whitehall, Montana. The sisters are Mrs W J Dunn and Miss Winifred Gannon, both of St Anthony. Mrs Dunn's father, Thomas Gannon, died at St Anthony January 19, 1913. The only other death in the family was of a brother of Mrs Dunn, William A Gannon, an Iowa Central fireman, who was killed at New Sharon September 1, 1907. Mrs Dunn was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church, the St Elizabeth Society of the church, the Royal Neighbors and Homesteaders. Funeral services will held from St Mary's church Saturday morning at 8:15. Burial will be in the Dunn Settlement Cemetery north of St Anthony. Thursday, August 20, 1914 Evening Times Republican
