Mrs. Sufficool had been in failing health several years, but her last illness was of only a few days duration. She was 89 years, one month and three days old at the time of her death. Read More	------------------------- Mrs. Margaret Sufficool passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 5 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Grace Hall, at Martin, S.D. Mrs. Sufficool had been in failing health several years, but her last illness was of only a few days duration. She was 89 years, one month and three days old at the time of her death. Margaret Goddard was born March 2, 1850 in Canada, coming to the United States with her parents at the age of four years. Most of her girlhood was spent in Independence, Iowa. It was there that she was married to Wallace Sufficool on January 31, 1873. She came three years later as a homesteader to Knox county, Nebraska, where she since made her home, except the last two years, which she spent with her daughter at Martin, S.D. To this marriage union seven children were born, Chester A. of Center, Nebr.; Grace Hall of Martin, S.D.; Ethel Gaines of Independence, Oregon and Vera Crandall of Winnetoon and three little girls, who died in infancy. Her husband preceded her in death thirty-six years ago. She was baptized in the Methodist church in 1895 and remained faithful until her death. She loved her home and family and especially enjoyed the friendships of her neighbors. Besides her four children, Mrs. Sufficool is survived by eighteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Winnetoon Methodist church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. George B. Anderson of the Federated church of Creighton. Interment was made in the family lot in the Cedar Hill cemetery at Bazile Mills. Relatives from a distance, who attended the funeral were Mrs. Grace Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Marion Hall, all of Martin, S.D. ...The Creighton News 13 April 1939 -------------------------
